Planning ahead is an important of scheduling your move.

Summertime is always a busy season for moving – and it’s especially busy now during these challenging times.

As a result, our calendars are filling up more quickly than ever. As dates are subject to availability, we recommend scheduling your container deliveries, pick-ups, and moves as soon as possible – at least 7-10 days in advance.

The Mobile Storage Guy does not prorate its monthly rates. Your billing starts when we deliver the unit. We work around your schedule.

We require 24 to 48 hours notice to pick up or drop off a unit.

Normal weekly drop/pick up days are Mondy - Friday.

Saturday and Sunday require pre-approval. We can accomodate specific dates with advance notice. Sunday are special overtime rates.

We keep it simple - Your Rent starts when we drop off the Mobile Storage Unit. Proration of rental rates can get confusing, which is why we believe in paying for what you need when you need it, plus this way all of your bills are not hitting you at the 1st of the month.

The Mobile Storage Guy offers monthly rentals allowing you to pack and unload at your own pace. Your billing cycle will begin the day the container is delivered to you and continues through the next 30 days.

A refund will be issued depending on when the order is canceled. To get a full refund, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice.

The worst case scenario is you are charged a $50.00 cancelation fee.

Cancellations must occur by 4 pm local time on the day before your delivery or a cancellation fee may be charged. You must speak with an Associate to cancel your Container order.

We will contact you via email and phone to confirm the arrival of the unit.

Be mindful that your Delivery Window is an estimated timeframe and not a guarantee.

You don't have to be present for delivery, but it is recommended to ensure the storage unit is placed where you want it.

What times do you deliver the containers?

Our deliveries usually begin at 7:00 am local time. You do not have to be present for delivery or pickup. But we recommend it to ensure proper placement.

Do you pick-up and deliver on weekends?

Containers are delivered and picked up on Saturdays but most Storage Centers are closed on Sundays.

Do I need to be there when my container arrives?

No, for your convenience, you do not have to be present when the driver arrives. The driver will call you when they are en route to your home to confirm delivery and placement instructions.

Hazardous Materials such as toxic chemicals, gas, liquids, substance, material or waste, lawn mowers, motorized vehicles and illegal items cannot be placed in a Mobile Storage GUY Container.
We also recommend that heirlooms, irreplaceable artifacts, deeds, legal notices, forms of currency and items that are not your personal property are not placed in the Container. Refer to your rental agreement for additional restrictions on what cannot be stored in the Container.
HUMAN OR ANIMAL HABITATION IS ALSO SPECIFICALLY PROHIBITED.

No, cars, motorized vehicles and lawnmowers are not allowed to be transported in any of our mobile storage containers.

Yes, all of our mobile storage Units & shipping containers have a door system that is lockable from the outside.

What type of lock should I use?

We recommend a 2 ¾” (70mm) Disc Lock or a 1 ¾” Padlock. Locks can be purchased from The Mobile Storage Guy or at your local home improvement store.
